Ava Of December's Birth

Ava of December's birth,
On you the stars shine and share their worth.
Pleiades, upon your head so small,
Places her knowledge that defines your call.
Earth will also play her role,
Parting onto you her strength and soul.
She gives the beauty of her many shores.
They wash up on to you, a gift that's yours.
With knowledge, strength and beauty abound,
Your countenance is one rarely found.

Many have searched a lifetime in pursuit,
Searching for such glorious fruit.
Fountains of youth and cities of gold,
Have eluded explorers from days of old.
While those of us who gather near you,
Have not far to search to find such truths.
For the truth rests here, cradled by arms of four
And two hearts that beat for you, most adored.

Ava of December's cold,
You arrived new to a land that's old.
With ancient wisdom already collected,
You will grow and learn until perfected.
Then you will take all that you've gained
And share all you are with those who remain.
No force to be found shall bind your will,
For your resolve is stronger than steel.

Ava of December's glow,
You are so loved more than you know.
There are many hearts and eyes,
That look to you and realize,
From children like you comes a dream
That runs through our souls, an endless stream.
